Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University

ABOUT UNIVERSITY

Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University — formerly known as the Lvov State Medical Institute, earlier the Faculty of Medicine of the John Casimir University and, before that, Faculty of Medicine of the Francis I University — is one of the oldest and biggest medical universities in Ukraine. LNMU begins from the Medical Faculty of Lviv University, which was opened on November 16, 1784, according to the privilege of the Austrian emperor Josef II. The Medical School is named after King Daniel of Galicia, the historical founder of the city in 1256 AD. In 2009 University celebrated its 225 anniversary.

Higher State Educational Establishment of Ukraine “Bukovinian State Medical University” is one of the leading educational establishments of Ukraine. History of the Bukovinian State Medical University is an integral part of the intellectual, cultural and spiritual history of Bukovyna. The prehistory of the Bukovinian State Medical University’s establishment is connected with the reorganization of the Second Kyiv State Medical Institute, founded on March 1, 1931, which in 1941 was evacuated to the city of Chelyabinsk.

Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University

Ternopil National Medical University is a medical university located in the city of Ternopil in Ukraine. TSMU was founded on 12 April 1957 as a Ternopil Medical Institute. On July 1, 1992, the institute was named after Ivan Horbachevsky. On December 30, 1997, it received the status of State Medical Academy, and on 17 November 2004, after reorganization, the institution became Ivan Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University. The first rector of the medical institute was Petro Ohii, and the vice-rector Arsen Martyniuk. The regional administration transferred ownership of two buildings to the institute for the use as academic and laboratory facilities, and two dormitories. University clinic facilities were located in the municipal hospital. At the same time, the Morphology Building, a dormitory, and the Regional Hospital were being built.

Sumy State University

Sumy State University is located in Sumy city in the North-East of Ukraine.  Today, Sumy State University is a leading institution of a classical type with the IV accreditation level in the region.
The University currently serves about 14,000 students, who are pursuing bachelor and master degrees in 55 majors and 23 fields of knowledge. About 1750 foreign students represent almost 50 countries worldwide.
Sumy State University enters the ranking of the The World University Rankings by Times Higher Education at the position of 1001+.
Sumy State University is included in Global Research University Profiles (GRUP) by Shanghai Ranking. 
Sumy State University enters the TOP-group (3%) of leading universities of the world and is classified as a university with high research intensity according to the international ranking of higher education institutions QS World University Rankings. According to these rankings, Sumy State University enters the group of leading Ukrainian universities. Sumy State University also ranked 101-150 among the fastest-rising young stars of the higher education world by the QS.

Kyiv Medical University

ABOUT UNIVERSITY
Kyiv Medical University is one of the largest Ukrainian private universities and the only one with about 3200 students enrolled, 35% of which are foreign students from 56 countries. Kyiv Medical University has got IV (the highest) level of accreditation (license of MES of Ukraine from 07.05.2019).

As a university with the highest level of accreditation by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, all degrees issued to foreign students are legalized and apostatized by the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Ukraine.

The Academy possesses the 4th (the highest in Ukraine) level of accreditation. A new concept of training has been developed which envisages integrated system of actions aimed at high, world-standard level of medical staff training, rendering of high-quality assistance to the population, development and introduction of modern medical technologies and comprehensive cooperation with foreign medical institutions.
Within the whole period of existence of the Academy about 165 thousand of doctors have been trained in 30 basic medical specialties as well as 760 clinical ordinators, 198 postgraduate students, 120 holders of a Master’s degree  and 2900 doctors-interns. During this period 88 medical doctors and 206 candidates of medical sciences of the Academy have defended their dissertations.

Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University
The Black Sea National University has created all the conditions for the development of young specialists of the new generation.
The material base of the university includes 11 buildings, united in a single complex - a campus. All conditions for comfortable study of students are created, because everything in the university is done for students, for the benefit and convenience.
The library has 110,000,000 copies, including 15 books in 15 languages. The library includes a subscription and 2 reading rooms with a total of 300 seats.
